Asis Chronicle is a Seattle-based, independent, Black-owned online source of News, Commentary, Culture, and Analysis.
Our goal is to provide the Black community with relevant information and valuable perspectives regarding their lives that are seldom found in other publications.
Since our launch in November 2011, we have worked hard at providing insightful, entertaining, and well-written articles, commentary, and analysis for free-thinking, intellectual, and passionate African American Men and African American Women who are socially and politically aware, and who thirst for a more culturally ethical and socially responsible narrative.
We believe our work is in keeping with the true mission of the Black Press, which is to give proper representation and a voice to the millions of Blacks living in this country – a responsibility that in no way do we take lightly.
It is our desire that we become a beacon and a refuge for those seeking a more balanced and objective view of the Black Experience.
That is, in the very least, what we think a legitimate Black media outlet is supposed to do.
And this is our promise – to YOU.
We hope you find the information here useful, and that when you leave here, you leave a little bit better – a little bit stronger and wiser – than you were when you got here.
After all, we really are ALL in this – together.
